Young Enterprise Enrichment team Survey: The Students Hub Project

Can you help them with their project? They are working on a business to launch and one of their ideas is a website which would facilitate the connection between British and international students. Their project is called 'The Students Hub'. Please help them by filling out the survey to learn more about how this project could be developed.

Changes to bus operating times will take place from 31 October 2022. We recommend checking your journey times so you can get to where you need to go at a time that works for you.

Below is a summary of the main changes. Simply click on the route link in the table below for updated timetables or visit the online journey planner before you travel.

Route Summary

55 The 08:21 service from London Road Shops towards Varndean College will no longer operate. Alternative journeys will continue to operate on route 55 as well as alternative journeys on route 5B.

The 16:28 service from Varndean College to Churchill Square will no longer operate, an alternative service is available on route 5B.

59 The 07:15 service from Shoreham Red Lion to Brighton will no longer operate due to low usage. An alternative service is available on route 59A.

The 07:18 service from Shoreham Beach, Beach Green towards Brighton will now start from Red Lion at 07:35, no longer serving Shoreham Beach and Fort.

59A The 07:28 service will depart 10 minutes earlier to arrive at Cardinal Newman School at 08:06.

60 The 07:25 service from Red Lion to Brighton Station will no longer operate due to low usage. Alternative services are available on routes 2, 46 and 59.

The 17:20 service from Old Steine to Steyning will no longer operate due to low usage. Alternative services are available on route 2 and 46.

72A The two morning journeys will be merged in to one, starting at the Bottom of Elm Grove at 07:22. There will be enough seats for all children on the combined bus.

96A This service will no longer operate due to low usage. An alternative service is available on route 96.

Green Careers Week 2022.pdf

As part of the nationwide Green Careers Week, we have a couple of representatives coming to offer

Talk on Circular Economy

Claire Potter and Clare Harris will provide an overview of what the Circular Economy is, and the different opportunities that it presents. They will then examine the role that Design plays in the circular economy, with a focus on product / 3d design as well as service design and behaviour change etc.

Claire Potter runs the Claire Potter Design Studio which is an award-winning sustainable, circular economy design studio based in Brighton. She is also a Senior Lecturer and Course Convenor in Product Design working within the School of Engineering, Informatics + Design at the University of Sussex.

The talk is open to all students but will be of particular interest to students studying Physics, Engineering, Maths, 3D Design, Graphics Design, Business, Economics, Textiles and Vocational Science.
