Sheep grazing on the Surrenden Campus
The sheep will be returning to the Liz Williams Butterfly Haven - North of Stringer Way. You are welcome to come along Stringer Way to visit them. The sheep are owned by the Sussex Wildlife Trust and they will be grazing from Thurs 2nd Dec to Fri 9th Dec (possibly longer). Over several centuries’ sheep created the right conditions for rare wildflowers and insects to survive. Without their grazing many species over the downs would be lost.
