Varndean Feminist Society will be raising money for the Brighton Women's Centre.
This charity works with women who have been victims of homelessness, abuse, or who have been through the prison system, providing them the support they need to get back on their feet. Help support them at lunchtime on Monday 21st November in the canteen. Bring change!

What we are doing
Citizens assembly - On Thursday 10th November, members of the Student Union attended the citizens assembly, which brought up topics such as student mental health, the real living wage and the rising transport costs to several members of the Brighton and Hove council.
Culture Day - The SU is currently arranging 2 culture days that will take place in December, where students can share their culture and experience the culture of others
Staff roles - A "cheat sheet" of the different roles of important members of staff and how to contact them was proposed by the Student Union, and is currently being worked on by George Marshall and myself (Cassie Samuel).

LIBRARY NEWS
All the November A Level Review magazines are now in the library, including Sociology, Psychology, Chemistry, Geography, Modern History, Physics, Politics, English, Economic and Business Review.
These are excellent magazines written by teachers and examiners specifically for A Level students, and are packed full of the latest academic research with topical content and articles linked to A-level specification topics. We have print copies in the library which can be borrowed and also have online access to back copies in the digital archive (find a link on the library website under ‘Online Resources’)
