During COP27, the TOW Summit will explore issues around power and how young people can use their power to create a better world. These are all online offering a series of interactive, youth-led workshops to discover how power is key to transforming our world.

Library Website

Find everything you need to know about using the library and all the resources we have to support your studies on the library website. Find a link to it in 'Student Essentials' on the college website or on MyVarndean.

Meet Badger

It was back to work for Badger, the library dog, last week after her long summer break! She spent Friday morning meeting and greeting some of new students and having a couple of walks on the field. She's here every Friday if you would like to meet her .

Subject Resources

The library has helpful resource lists for all your subjects. These are one page websites with links to key ebooks (textbooks, revision guides etc) as well as lots of useful online resources. Find them all on the library website.

WHAT'S NEW IN THE LIBRARY

Read & Relax

We now have a read and relax area at the front of the library where you will find our excellent fiction collection along with graphic novels, young adult fiction and quick reads.

Silent Study Room

There is a dedicated silent study room at the back of the library with 8pcs for students to use. If you prefer to work in silence, this is the place for you!

New Study Booths

We now have 20 new study booth spaces in the library for quiet individual study. Please remember the library is not a social space and please work quietly at all times.
