National Numeracy Day 19th May 2021
Numeracy is not always taught in the classroom: it means having the confidence and skills to use maths to solve problems in everyday life. Numeracy is as important as literacy - it's sometimes called ‘mathematical literacy’ - and we need both to get on in life.
Ready to check your numeracy level?

Nature inspired Poem
You are not alone.
Nature surrounds you.
So get off your phone,
And appreciate the view.
The flowers sprout in spring, and the blossom blooms so bright,
Nature is a wonderful thing, so appreciate it day and night,
The season of summer pleases our souls, and brings a calmer sea,
A great period of new goals, and a place to feel happy,
When autumn comes around, and the leaves start to fall,
Listen to the sound of the wind, and the mini beasts that crawl,
And when winter consumes you, with the colder weather it brings,
See the morning dew, and know that soon it will be spring.
The seasons and nature affect us, it’s interesting, and important too,
So remember that you’re not alone, nature is always with you.
